When the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) travelled to Africa for the very first time, the Organising Committee faced a single, uncompromising requirement: one equipment partner capable of covering 13 core sports, in a brand-new market, on a fixed and immovable deadline. Taishan Sports was appointed to equip and support the Dakar Youth Olympic Games — the company's fourth consecutive YOG engagement and its eighth Olympic-family Games.

Dakar 2026 was never a routine order. Three pressures defined the project:
- Breadth: 13 core disciplines had to be equipped and serviced by a single supplier — gymnastics, judo, boxing, wushu, cycling among them — each governed by its own international federation standards.
- Geography: West African logistics, customs clearance and on-site warehousing had to be engineered from scratch, with no prior footprint on the continent.
- Accountability: A Youth Olympic Games allows no second attempt. Every mat, frame, ring and barrier had to be certified, tested and match-ready before the opening ceremony on 31 October.
Rather than shipping products, Taishan Sports delivered a complete event-service system built on nearly 50 years of manufacturing discipline and more than 3,000 major domestic and international events.
- Single-source equipment supply for all 13 core sports, engineered to IOC and international federation specifications.
- A dedicated on-site service and support team, formally dispatched on 14 October at a send-off ceremony, deployed to Senegal ahead of the Games.
- End-to-end project management — production, inspection, packing, freight, installation, competition-time maintenance and decommissioning.
- Full-process technical support during competition days, with rapid-response spares and field engineers on standby.
| Workstream | Scope | Delivery Model |

- Following the Nagoya Asian Games, the company received formal praise from the Organising Committee and a letter of appreciation from the General Administration of Sport of China for its flawless execution and its contribution to the Chinese delegation's success.
"This is not a one-off shipment — it is the fourth time the Olympic movement has trusted us with its youth flagship event. That trust is earned through product quality and service discipline, Games after Games."Why It Matters for Buyers
The same capability that equips an Olympic field of play is available to federations, event organisers, clubs and distributors: certified manufacturing, export-grade logistics and on-site service delivered by one accountable partner. From Nagoya to Dakar, from the Asian Games to the Youth Olympic Games, Taishan Sports continues to expand the footprint of Chinese event-service expertise — contributing "Chinese strength" to the development of global sport.
